« Its location was wonderful, eating breakfast looking out over Dunkery Beacon was a joy! The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained with every need taken care of. We had a wonderful breakfast with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. »

« Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned »

« Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. »
