DOLLAR POINT HOA AMENITIES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR GUEST ACCESS/ USE.

This lovely Dollar Point home is professionally decorated from top to bottom, and the kitchen, carpets, and beautiful hardwood floors are all updated. The great room features designer furnishings, Hickory select hardwood floors, a flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and cathedral ceilings. The open plan lends itself to entertaining the whole gang with a big dining room table that seats 10 right next to the large gourmet kitchen. The kitchen features top of the line finishes including Kitchen-aid stainless steel appliances. The stove/ oven is dual fuel with a gas stove and electric oven. There are two decks that open off of the great room, one in front and the one out back is where you can BBQ. There is a powder room, and a master suite with king bed and en-suite bath on this level as well.

This richly designed home has a second master suite downstairs, with a queen bed and en-suite bath. There are two additional bedrooms and shared full bathroom downstairs. One bedroom has a queen bed and the final bedroom is a bunk room with two sets of twin bunks (four twin beds). There are two 40 gallon water heaters installed to accommodate this large and spacious home.

Just minutes from the home is access to miles of beautiful, paved bike trails that are separated from the road and go to Tahoe City, down the West Shore, as well as out to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. If you prefer something more adventurous there are also miles of mountain bike trails close by. For nearby beaches, check out Skylandia beach located in the Lake forest neighborhood or Commons located beach in the heart of Tahoe City.

PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.

Wells and Bennett will be charging separately a $500 down payment at time of booking to hold your reservation that will go towards your final balance.

Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.

Holiday Booking Policy

CHRISTMAS - Check-In must be by December 20th, 21st, or 22nd. There is a 5 to 7 night minimum stay required. (Must check out by December 28th at latest, to allow 7 days for a New Years Reservation.) **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 24th, 25th
NEW YEARS - Check-In must be on December 27, 28, or 29. There is a 7 night minimum stay required. **No Check-Ins or Check-Outs on December 31st or January 1st

Big open spaces
It was great to have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Access to the garage was great for storing our kayaks and bikes. 2 decks and a bar-b-q were handy. Wish we had a hot tub (broken before we got there), one of the decks needs a little TLC, and wish we had access to the HOA beach and pool.

Awesome Family Retreat Location
Lake Tahoe is special. Having your entire family together during the holidays is even more special and this residence is the right answer. The location, home amenities, layout, perfect "degree of separation" for the bedrooms, and neighbors are all awesome. The hot tub was the perfect respite after skiing and sledding with the grandkids! A couple of weather-related tips: (1) Bring a kit with you with lanterns, flashlights, candles, and power sticks. If/when the power goes out, you'll be more prepared than others (PS: Thanks for having the BBQ ready with a full propane tank!); (2) During the winter, thank the snow removal service with a smile and a 6-pack. You'll reap the rewards, not to mention he's a very personable guy!

Very nice cabin
We always stay in Tahoe during thanksgiving weekend and have seen lots of different cabins in south or north of the lake. This cabin is in very good neighborhood and it’s nice place for 6-8 people. Almost everything is in place in kitchen and well stocked, enough beds and good condition mattress.

Nice size home and location, needs updates
The home is great but if you advertise the two lovely decks then you should have sliding glass doors that actually open and screen doors that stay on. We brought up the summer porch furniture 3 flights up that was not set out for us from the garage. The toilet in the master upper bedroom leaked all over the floor so we had to isolate and turn off, thank gosh there was another bathroom next to it in hall. The wonderful decks had not been swept or cleaned, but the home has great space for a group and lots of potential. The main living space with kitchen is great and the best part. The spa was fun. The kitchen is stocked very well, lots of fun games to play.

Lovely home for 3 couples that has a few issues
The design of this home was perfect for 3 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The location was great. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay but would not return. The house was very dusty. A ski outfit was left in the master closet by the previous visitor suggesting that area had not been vacuumed. The carpets are very stained. The first morning we all got tepid to cold showers and then discovered the water heater was on "vacation mode." This should have been adjusted before our arrival. The toilet in the bathroom on the lower level got stopped up. The showers when on have more water coming out of the faucet than the shower head--a terrible waste, especially at a time we need to conserve water. In all, the property felt dated and in need of attention for these issues, which seems highly inappropriate for the price we paid per night. We have stayed at other places on the North Shore that cost less and were much nicer and certainly much more clean. This property is not worth the rent you are charging.

Lovely home
We had a great time at this beautiful home. The location and the neighborhood were fabulous. We had a small issue with the thermostat which we notified them about. Very cozy and worked out great for us. We would definitely come back.

Great dollar Point Family Get Away
House and neighborhood are great. Loved our evening family walls and close proximity to private beach. Some dated parts of house (bathrooms) but not a big issue for us. Well-stocked kitchen (even a professional waffle maker!) and plenty of room to store food which is not usual for rentals. All in all a fabulous stay!

This house is PERFECT for a family vacation at Lake Tahoe. Prime spot with front and back balconies that are excellent for morning coffee, dining, relaxing. Hot tub and bbq top it off. Very comfortable accommodations for up to 10. Wonderful kitchen and living room.

Great house! good for multiple families or generations. We enjoyed our stay with my family and my sister in laws family and our children all under 6. House had everything we needed and dollar point was a great place to stay. I fully recommend!

Hard to say.....
We booked this home based on recommendation for neighborhood and the amenities of the house. The house was well stocked and appreciated all the extras there. The rental company told us there would be no beach towels, yet there were which was great, but would have appreciated not having to pack all those beach towels. The TV's in the bedroom did not work and the management company did nothing other than send out an "IT" person that couldn't even figure it out over to check and then tell me it was working when it didn't (I had to have him come back to show him it didn't work). While the main area of the house is lovely, the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms are awful and in a major need of renovation. The master bed bathroom had a "jacuzzi" tub that was really disgusting. The jets were black with mold and would assume this borders on unsanitary. To think we were the first to complain about this would be surprising. The downstairs bath by the garage smelled of urine so bad by the end of the week we stopped using it. The house could use a major overhaul with regards to lighting as the whole house is very dark, especially the bathrooms. While the house met our needs, for these reasons, I would not rent from them or Wells and Associates again.

Wonderful stay at Belvedere
We are familiar with Dollar Point and loved the location of this home. Easy walk to the pool and a terrific house......spacious, great kitchen with plenty of "tools" and dishes, ....enough for the size of the home. Sleeps 10!!! in comfy beds with nice linens, etc. The appliances all seem to be quite new. We loved having two decks so sun or shade whichever you preferred at any time. Our grand kids loved the hot tub!!!! Everything is in this home for you to have a really great vacation.
