Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Tadi?
The best time to visit Tadi, Conakry, Guinea, is during the dry season, which runs from November to May.

During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days and lower humidity, making it far more comfortable for exploring. You can expect pleasant temperatures around 25-30°C (77-86°F), superb for enjoying the city's outdoor markets, coastal areas, and general sightseeing without the interruption of heavy rainfall. This period is ideal for those who want to avoid the challenges that come with the wet season, such as muddy roads and potential travel delays.

For travellers interested in cultural events and festivals, the dry season often hosts various local celebrations. It's a great time to engage with the local way of life and experience the community spirit. The clearer skies also make for better photography opportunities, capturing the vibrant colours of Tadi.

Couples looking for a relaxing holiday will find this period particularly appealing. The consistent good weather allows for romantic strolls along the coast or enjoying meals at outdoor restaurants without the worry of rain.
