« This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. « The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray. »

« We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. « House was exactly as described and pictured, very clean, great proximity to town, comfortable beds. Only thing that caught us a little off guard, but really can’t be shown in a picture, is a definitely “basement smell” you get in an older house…it was the first thing we noticed when we walked in. Recommend bringing a couple plug-in air fresheners! But, we would still stay ij it again for all of the other reasons cited. »
