"Wonderful room with partial view of the bay and beach. Small, but had everything we needed. We couldn’t figure out how to work the air conditioner until we started packing up to leave, but we could open the window and that helped. The area is really touristy but that gave us an amusing time people watching. Lots of cafes on the strip, including coffee shop on ground floor of building and cvs too. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Loved the port view with the city skyline! Best view is obviously from the rooftop but even the twin city room had an amazing view. One thing I’d like to point out is that Lavalse had the room ready for us even before the check-in time which was so convenient after a 2.5hr long bullet train ride. Incredibly grateful for that and I understand it wouldn’t have been easy! Service was amazing and facilities were even better. "

The bed and shower were amazing (although it took forever for me to realize you had to twist not pull the knob to switch from handheld to overhead shower), and the location was so close to everything and subways. What really stood out was the little refresh and refreshment room in the lobby for guests. They thought of everything and had things in there that even five star hotels don’t have: cologne and perfume varieties, microwave, espresso maker, hot water dispenser, snacks, some toiletries (vending machine for others in lobby and a 7 Eleven across the street). Very safe, busy area close to subway and bus stop as well as airport limousine drop off area. Check schedules for airport limousine with them prior to departure as it only comes every hour but not necessarily on the hour. Will absolutely stay here again and this felt more like a 4 star hotel to me. "
