Sun Valley is within walking distance and has plenty of entertainment, such as walking paths with water features that begin right out your front door, ice skating, and many places to shop and dine in Sun Valley Village. Dollar Mountain is also close by, offering ski slopes for the beginner and intermediate skier/snowboarder. Ketchum is only a short drive away and has many more things to do. In the summer, you can paraglide off Baldy or go on a hiking or biking adventure. In the winter, Bald Mountain offers more skiing and snowboarding for the more advanced skier.

This condo was a less than ten minute drive from town, from the wedding venue I was in town for and from the places where other guests were staying. Check in was easy, the condo was cozy and overall it was a lovely stay.

1001 Atelier Condos Review Pros: Convenient location if you have a car. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels (although generally old and rough). Full-size refrigerator and adequate kitchen. Cons: Repairs needed: thermostat (temperature would go as much as 8-10 degrees above setting); front hall heater not functioning; screen door stuck in open position because of a bent rod. All problems reported; none fixed while we were there. No hairdryer and Vacasa management did not get one; we had to buy one. Bathroom heater is next to the side of the toilet, resulting in uncomfortably hot right hip when seated. Front hall appears to be vinyl tile, which gets slippery when wet. It needs a non-skid entry and a place for wet boots and shoes. No bus stop nearby. The nearest bus stop is at the Sun Valley Inn, which is up a very steep hill. Walking is hazardous in winter time, especially going back down. So, you will need a car. Unfortunately, parking is inadequate in the lot next to the condo. Sometimes you have to park in the lot for the condos behind this one. Inadequate drawer space for clothes and no place to store luggage. Instead, the unit has two extra chairs and a side table that should be taken out and replaced with more storage space. No local information, maps, bus schedules, or other brochures in the condo. Condition of unit: Carpet is worn, dirty, stained. Same with upholstered furniture. Bedding has a comforter without a cover for it; only a sheet over it and not below it. Comforter was too hot and no blanket available to use instead. Throw rug in kitchen is dangerous; better without it. Few supplies: no tissues, plastic wrap, or extra soap.

Great location, cozy studio.
Condo complex was well maintained and in good condition. Queen bed was on the softer side but comfortable and it had very functional kitchen space. Carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced, there were some large stains. Unit was cleaned well prior to arrival. Was a bit dated but overall we liked the place and would come back.

Small outdated condo. Fine for our 2 nights. There’s a washer and dryer but no laundry soap. Pots and pans but nothing to help with cooking like spray oil, salt, pepper etc. The main set of white dishes are chipped with stained coffee cups. I found a long black hair in the bathroom and old coffee grounds in the coffee pot. No AC that we could detect but there is a fan in the living room. No helpful information about the condo, like how to use the TV, amenities, or checkout procedures. The good - it’s in a great location. Walk up the hill to the Sun River Resort for the pools, restaurants and shopping. Nice hikes right across the street from SV Resort.

Perfect weekend getaway
The property was very cute and was the perfect size for a quick getaway with my husband. The bed was comfortable and was in the perfect location for the ski lifts and Sun Valley square! We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back again!

Cobwebs and dirty cutlery
Not the cleanest we have stayed in, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Cobwebs, and dirty cutlery is not great during covid times. Not good value for the money.
