« I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal. »

« Malheureusement, le sentiment dominant du séjour est la déception. Le confort était limité. Le logement n’est clairement pas adapté pour 4 personnes. Le service de petit déjeuner est quasi inexistant et contrairement au descriptif il n’y a pas de ménage quotidien. La déco du chalet, Le spa et les séances d’équitation sauvent la situation. Agréable mais sans plus. »

« We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fully stocked. Lots of ameneties at your disposal which was convienent and dog friendly;) Only a little challenge is the attached bathroom was on the exterior so you had to exit the cabin and go over to bathroom. Property was very clean. »

« Great vibe from the cabin , I can see alot of good times had there over the years , I'm familiar with the area so knew what to expect, hopefully revisit with a couple more people in the future , left a bottle of bailys and champaigne in the fridge , enjoy hahaha »

« Beautiful lake, cabin was semi-clean, needs a deep clean. Cabin has a strong, musty mothballs smell( not pleasant in my opinion). For the price that we paid per night, I felt that firewood should be included. We had some cold, rainy days and the inside electric fire sound like it was going to blow up so we had to turn the stove on to warm up the place. Barbeque that they provided was not in good repair and was full of cigarette butts. »

« Communication with Shirleen was great and check in was very easy. Good dirt biking trails in area. Fishing was not good when we went, might be better at a different time. Kids loved the swings they had. »

« What a great place and hosts. Our experience is that the pictures and descriptions online overpromise, in this case the opposite is true. Its even better! Bill and Lisa thank you for the wonderfull time, for us and the kids. Showing us the canadian way of life. Fishing, shooting enjoying nature. Kids where crying that we had to leave. « Is exactly as advertised. It is in the country about a half a kilometre from the lake. There are horses, dogs & cats to enjoy. My room was spacious & comfortable. There’s also a common room & a common kitchen with your personal mini fridge. The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied.
