The house is very well-equipped and clean. The space was great for our family of four plus grandparents that can't do stairs. The host was very responsive and they were even able to accommodate us checking in 1.5 hours early. The only negative was the private dock, was described as "easy to launch kayaks and canoe" and this is not the case as the dock is small and the water level is super low with high grasses and cattails. You might be able to launch from the dock but it certainly would not be "easy", however, we were able to get the kayaks down to the boat launch just a few blocks away. There were 10 of us for a family vacation. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of door county but close enough to enjoy it all. We took the kayaks out, the water is shallow but we were still able to get out there and enjoy the water. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of room for all of us, we had a great time! Beds were comfortable, and the bedding was a big hit!A full septic tank caused a stressful late afternoon into evening. Bay was too shallow so we were unable to use canoe/kayaks that were provided! Our family booked this property as a way to celebarte my Father in Law's 75th Birthday. We had a wonderful time, and the location was beautiful. We were a little suprised however that the home felt smaller than the photos led on, and there was an ongoing fruit fly issue from the time we arrived until departure. It quickly felt like coming home after we were out for the day. We had all amenities that we could possibly need. The huge yard was excellent for the kids throwing frisbee and balls. Great fire pit.
