« The house is so cute! Everything you could possibly need was available in the home. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple to get away and enjoy the area. It is also located so close to everything the area offers (downtown, the parks, etc.). « View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains! »

Blue Ridge Mountain Inn

Blue Ridge Mountain Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous! It is so rare to find a spotlessly clean, affordable motel nowadays, let alone a place with a personality, instead of the identical rooms of chain motels. Our room was remodeled with taste: lovely hardwood floors, pretty lamps, an original painting of a mountain, super convenient clothes and towel hangers on beautiful wooden boards, and a real double shower curtain. We enjoyed a very peaceful 3-day family stay: it was wonderful to sit outside on the pretty old-fashioned wrought iron chairs with a book and cup of coffee. The fridge with a separate freezer door was very much appreciated, as well as the microwave and coffee maker. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the motel is located just off the Blue ridge parkway: very convenient for access to hikes, bluegrass music events and delicious home cooking. The place to go!"
