« My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. I would also mention that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t lock and leaves a gap. We encountered one issue regarding the oven during our stay, but the host was quick...

« We enjoyed our four nights at the cottage. It was very clean, well-maintained, and had some great touches - like the cabinet lighting in the kitchen and beautiful quartz countertops. The view from the deck was amazing, and we enjoyed watching the seagulls, ducks and geese in the mornings and evenings. The cottage was extremely close to Acadia National Park, allowing us access to multiple trail heads on the quiet side of MDI. Overall, a great stay. »

« This Maine cottage has everything you need for a quiet stay on the Southwest Harbor side of Acadia National park - only 15 minutes away. Kitchen is well equipped. Cove that it is on is quiet. Would definitely come back again. »

« My husband & I loved staying at this treehouse location. It was the perfect size, equipped with all we needed for our stay. It was about 30 min from everything we wanted to do while visiting Acadia. If we hadn’t stayed here, and opted for Bar Harbor, we would never have seen this part of the area. « This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay! »

« The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience. »

These were perfect to have a nature feel but with amenities to suit a day of sweating from adventuring in Acadian National Park! « Très bien situé pour visiter Mount Desert Island et, en plus, très tranquille. Le cottage est grand, fort bien équipé et, en prime, décoré avec goût. Lit très confortable et table judicieusement placée pour observer les chevreuils qui nous visitent en début de soirée. Marilee nous a fait des suggestions intéressantes pour profiter à plein des environs. »

« The rental is right on the water. We enjoyed the sunrises across the water and the evening fires on the deck overlooking the water. The rental was clean and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. We had a great say despite losing power due to a storm. »
