"The room 201 had an amazing location overlooking the bay. It was plenty big enough for our party of 3 and nicely laid out with comfortable beds and a balcony. The views of the bay were outstanding. It needs a bit of TLC though, chips out of the kitchen cupboards, fridge door not catching properly and the curtains in the living room didn’t meet in the middle which isn’t great when you have midnight sun. I was also a bit surprised to have to strip the beds before I left but it wasn’t a major thing."

"Low score for the staff as there were none to be found, the room was sparse with amenities, if you are looking for amentities like a tv, microwave, refrigerator, etc it won’t be here. The location was great for walking to local shops, restaurants and tour operators. Long term parking is nearby at a reasonable price, just need to pay attention to details of which lot it is."

"This is a lovely new hotel on a convenient location for the Tromso to Lofoten drive or vice versa. It is also close to the Hurtigruten museum which is so interesting to visit on a wet day. The hotel is modern and spacious with an aesthetic bar area design. Cocktails were professionally made. Dinner was also good, if limited in choice. Superb breakfast selection. Our room had a high quality bed, tv and effective blackout curtains, a Norwegian summer necessity. We thought this hotel was excellent value."
