« Super maison en bord de lac. Hyper agréable, bien chauffée, de grandes fenêtres offrant une vue à 180° sur le paysage. Tranquillité assurée. Belle terrasse dont on n'a pas profité car les températures d'avril étaient un peu fraiches (1° avec neige). Le "hot tub" est top car avec une chaude naturelle. Aucune pollution lumineuse si vous voulez faire de belles photos d'aurores boréales. On a passé un super séjour, on y retourne dès que possible ! »

« This is a lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood and tiny village. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well appointed, although we only used it for light breakfasts. We had fabulous weather, so we were able to enjoy the outside deck and sea air. There isn’t much to do in the village (but do visit the cute wool boutique with nice items a short walk from the house!). There’s a highly rated restaurant in the village, but we didn’t try it. « Le logement est très beau et fonctionnel. Nous ne nous attendions pas à nous y sentir aussi bien. Il y avait quelques décorations de Noël qui donnent un charme durant cette période. La localisation nous a permis de faire le Sud de l’Islande jusqu’à Vik sans avoir à retourner jusqu’à Reykjavík ! Merci à nos hôtes pour les conseils qui nous ont aidé à organiser notre séjour. « Séjour très agréable,nous avons été tres bien acceuillis par maja. L'appartement est complet (y compris pour les denrées de 1ere nécessité sel sucre café. ....). La vue est magnifique malgré que nous ayons eu beaucoup de pluie et surtout beaucoup vraiment beaucoup de vent..... Maja nous avait mis le chauffage et le logement etait bien chaud.merci encore pour ce bon séjour »

« The barn house was a peaceful base camp for exploring the south coast. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The most well stocked property I have ever stayed at with cooking supplies, laundry, and bathrobes. The large window skylights, lighting, and infloor heating created a cozy place for our family to enjoy. Highly recommend! »

« We really loved our stay here. The home is as described in the listing, is clean and has all the amenities including a washer and dryer. Staying on a farm was a nice change of pace on our trip - we enjoyed seeing the horses in the pasture next door. Before we left we lucked out and happened upon one of the owners who gave us a tour of the barn and animals there. Would absolutely stay again. »

« The schoolhouse was exactly what we were looking for with our large group with kids 2-6. Lots of space to play inside and outside. Good spot to explore the South of Iceland, close to the ocean as well as Selfoss. Fantastic smelling hand soap and a great Kitchen and dining hall to have meals in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had questions. »

« Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. « Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten. »
