"This place is a hidden gem. The view and environment surrounding this place is breathtaking. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast offered plenty options to pick from. The room was clean and kept in good condition. The best bed and pillows in the entire trip. The only downside of the trip is the road to get to the hotel. Very narrow, uphill dirt road. Not to many restaurants or stores options around to explore."

"Merci beaucoup à Paula pour son accueil dans sa superbe demeure. La vue sur le Douro est magnifique et l'environnement est idéal pour passer des vacances relaxantes. La maison était parfaitement propre et il ne manquait rien pour passer un agréable séjour. Attention aux moins à l'aise en voiture, l'accés est un peu étriqué. Nous avions un mini-bus que nous avons stationné un peu plus loin. Petite suggestion : un peu plus d'éclairage extérieur permettrait de mieux profiter des repas tardifs."

"We had a lovely stay here. The setting was beautiful and the facilities were really good. The staff are really friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We had a couple of drinks on the veranda with snacks and then a very nice meal in the restaurant along with a good breakfast the next morning. The room was also very good with great views of the lake. All in all a great stay and we would definitely use this hotel again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Regouro. Anabela was very hospitable, making us feel so welcome and at home. She supplied many suggestions for what to do in the area, restaurants, hiking, and was a great resource for us. The house is spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the small balcony with the view over the town down to the river. We highly recommend staying at this vacation home."

"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. There were goats roaming around freely and one had just given birth to their baby just before we arrived! We took a walk down through the woodland via the path right below the site. The trail run alongside the stream where we met a stunning waterfall and river beach, then walked along the road following the river down to the weir. There was a cafe en route to buy refreshments! Would highly recommend this walk, we were out about two hours in all. That evening we crossed the bridge to the connecting restaurant. We sat out on the nice balcony area, it was dark so couldnt appreciate fully the views of the river but in daylight would have been lovely. The waitress was so friendly and nothing was too much. The food was so tasty and well presented. We had 3 courses and an alcoholic drink each. We enjoyed everything and even better when expecting the bill to be over €100, it was no more than €85. Breakfast was provided in our room and wasnt initally impressed but the croissants and bread were fresh and soft and ended up being a lovely breakfast! We only stayed the one night but would have happily stayed more as really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended! We will visit again! "
