There was a gentle breeze coming in from the window cooling the high temperature of the day. The external lighting of the grounds was turned off around about the time I went to bed, so there was no light intrusion from outside - which was great. The clean, modern hard laminate style flooring in the room was clean and well maintained, with carpeted communal areas for sound proofing. Very nice welcome, comfortable double bed. Slept very well. The ensuite shower in my room was small, attractive and very clean. It looked recently updated with metro tiles and new flooring, the water pressure was excellent. No hot food was served but the staff had lovely recommendations for food nearby. St Leonard's itself is not a great location for travellers. Our room was large and OK but the hotel was a bit rundown.
