« The inn is next to the river ouse in a beautiful area and, by car, is 5 minutes from St. Ives, a very interesting town to visit. To visit Cambridge you can go via various little villages through the countryside avoiding the very crowded A14 - about 40 mins. The room we had was quite small though comfortable with all the usual services. I would recommend asking for a large room on the side away from the kitchen to avoid the noise of the kitchen fan. « I walked into the shower door because I thought it was open, it was spotless. The room had a king size bed, quirky furnishing, like a silver monkey holding up the table top. Lots of interesting objects on the landing. We had the de luxe room with a fridge. The pub itself looked smart but we didn't eat there. The outside looks a bit shabby so inside was quite a surprise. »
