Yet they built new residences to resemble the original. The staff is as accommodating as ever, even more so. We had a wonderful time in the kind and caring hands of Meadowood. Truly not for any one handicapped, or older, or who doesn’t like to climb stairs. The restaurant had just opened the day before - what would have happened if it hadn’t? Our room was very small and $1400 a night! On the plus side, the staff was outstanding, couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. But the amount of steps was astounding! I understand the hotel had just reopened after the devastating fire, but we were not told that. The restaurant was temporary, as was the reception area. Truly not the hotel I remembered from 10 years before.
