Great location, needs a deep cleaning
I’ll start with the Pros: super close location to the beach. This unit offers beds for up to 6 people (although the trundle bed in the 2nd room was hard to get out and the mattress appeared dirty).
Cons: Overall, we were highly disappointed with this unit. Our first (and lasting) impression was that it is in need of a DEEP cleaning. After driving for 16 straight hours, we arrived late on Easter Sunday to a unit that featured dirty floors (especially under the beds, with noticeable dust and hair balls), walls that had stains on them (hallway, bedroom & bathroom walls), and features shown in the listing photos that did not exist in reality (area rugs, clean furniture, etc.). We spent the first half hour of our arrival cleaning & went out to buy a broom and dust pan. On Day 2, we discovered the towels smelled awful. I called the rental agency to complain. At this point I was disappointed not only by smelly towels (smoke smell) but the fact the unit was dirty. They said they would deliver clean towels the following day (which they did, although those also had an odor and they were left in a trash bag outside the unit). The woman I spoke with offered to have a cleaning company come to the unit to clean, but at that point we were unpacked and settled. We would’ve had to pack everything up and leave to allow that. I said I just wanted the agency to be aware that the unit was in need of a deep cleaning.
Advice: Book a different unit managed by a different agency!
