"Really excellent hotel! Friendly and helpful staff! Great food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner options. Clean rooms as well. Downside is the parking situation but we could park just down the street and walk a couple minutes to the hotel "

"Upon arriving the concierge ladies were very friendly & welcoming, our rooms were ready and check-in took less than 5 minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean. We ate in the bar as the restaurant wasn't open early in the week but the bar staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and there was a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't be a fan of the cocktails probably just stick to the standard drinks. The breakfast was also decent, plenty of options and the staff were very friendly there too."

"WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. "

"I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help."

"The property was quite spacious and nice, Though there were 2 bathrooms one with standing shower and the other with tub, there were serious issues with water pressure in the bathroom with tub effectively making it unusable except for the WC."

"booked a family rooms, asked for 3 beds, had a call with the hotel the week before and asked again for 3 beds. Checked in on the day and asked again to ensure there were 3 beds as had to visit a relative before going to the room. Got to the room at 8 o'clock that evening only 2 beds. Staff in the hotel arent great and the food is just ok"

"Room cold and decor needs to be upgraded. Breakfast mediocre. Evening meal was incredible as was spa. Some small tweaks would have made a huge difference. Staff were lovely. "

"On our first trip to Ireland, trying to see as much as we could in less than a month, we somehow managed to wind up here for a week, and how very fortuitous we were. The house is comfortable, thoughtfully designed and furnished, worthy in itself of a 10-star rating, but that hardly begins to tell the story. The setting is fairytale enchanting, beyond all expectation, and our hosts Mary and Des, anticipated our every need and question, and regaled with us with Irish lore and funny stories. Indeed, they treated us like family. When our rental car came down with a flat tire, Des even rode with us to a local mechanic and made sure everything was handled properly. There are so many beautiful sights and charming towns nearby, but don’t let your visit become over-scheduled and hectic. Do not leave without taking the cliff walk that begins just down the street. And do spend every unscheduled waking moment in the sun room, sipping your beverage of choice, looking out to the North Atlantic, and thinking deep thoughts. Or napping, as you prefer. If God ever made any place more beautiful, he kept it for himself. "
