"We had a wonderful stay! I don’t have a bad word to say. The hut itself was impeccably clean, along with the hot tub and sauna. We had the perfect amount of wood provided for our 2 night stay. The hut had an oven inside which is great as most huts we have stayed in have only had a hob. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am visiting the area and in need of accommodation "

"This lodge is amazing. It is so spacious and very clean. Lovely views from the back decking. The hot tub is a bonus. The lodge is very child friendly and has everything you could possibly need when travelling with young children. Our two young family members (ages 5 and 18months) particularly enjoyed the upstairs playroom. Also, plenty of activities available on the site (pool, sauna etc). Communication with the hosts was excellent. Questions were answered without delay. Overall, I would highly recommend this lodge, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Property was perfect size for us in a great location, indoor pool was okay but maybe a little bit full when we were there, shops a 2 minute drive away, decent pub although only open Thursday to Sunday when we stayed, didn't try any of the food in the pub. The only downside for us was towels and general toiletries not supplied, we knew this when we booked but would be a great addition."

"Great host with efficient communications & accommodating. Pleasant detached property, stayed here to visit Newquay and its attractions, for 5 nights as a combined family withs kids as 10 guests. All bedrooms are of good size with plenty of storage, though we found the beds a little too low especially for our OAP's. Kitchen was well equipment with operational manuals for the appliances. Rooms were relatively clean, odd cobwebs here and there, guessing cleaners missed a few places of debris on the floor and pet hairs on the sofa prior to arrival. Bathrooms were clean, though I think the place could do with a thorough clean, but maybe difficult due to the demand at peak season. The sofas could do with an overhaul or full cover change at every new guest. Parking can be an issue, specially when other guests can't park properly, potentially occupying 2 to 3 spaces. Could do with road markings for better management of parking.We didn't get to use any of the resort facilities other than kids playground, with the indoor swimming pool very popular & high in demand."

"Lovely lodge with all amenities you could wish for. Very quick response to a couple of small issues by Dave. Plenty of cleaning products etc. Really really comfy beds but the rearranged bed in the playroom had no curtain so was very light and very hot! Children loved all the toys and the eve entertainment for littlies. Adults loved the hot tub 2 fridges! Only downside was a massive hedge in front of the lodge so no view but it did block the noise from the ‘lake’. Great holiday apart from the resort facilities, we would have expected them to be better for the price of the holiday, tennis courts were frankly dangerous as so gravelly, the pool was pretty small for such a big resort though the booking system worked well (only 30 allowed at once). Expected the watersports lake etc to be bigger. Flowrider looked amazing. Humps around the resort were too big for my MIL mobility scooter to get over so she got stuck a few times. My big beef was with the Lookout restaurant. Couldn’t make a coffee for toffee and took an absolute age to produce them. When we tried to eat there (bank holiday sat) they let us take menus etc then when we went to order said that they weren’t taking any walk ins as they only had one chef. And freezing cold as air con on full blast."

"The property is in a great location to access beaches and other attractions. It is spacious and reasonably well equipped. Also the onsite amenities are included in the price , swimming, crazy golf ect . Unfortunately the property could do with a little maintenance especially the downstairs bathroom . The shower pole is falling of the wall and you cannot put the sink plug and the tap is very loose . The cleaners leave alot to be desired. This is a shame because it just needs a bit of attention to make it really good "
