"The room was very clean although the radiator was on in the bathroom and had no way to turn it off. The bed was a bit stiff for our preferences. Overall, all of the staff were very friendly and relatable and knowledgeable of the local area. Breakfast was bloomin’ delicious! Excellent stay over all! "

"We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the apartment and what a beautiful place it is. Really tastefully decorated and the view was stunning! We never shut the curtains so we could enjoy It day and night! The whole place was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed including lovely clean and soft towels and bedding. Steve the host was always at hand answering our questions about where to eat out and parking and he was a fabulous host to deal with. Parking was available as street parking directly below the apartment and we never struggled to find somewhere to park even during the Easter holidays. The apartment itself was in a great location to explore the Norfolk coast. Highly recommend a trip further North to Horsey Gap to see the seals. It was fabulous seeing them up close! We would definitely come back and stay at the apartment again one day. Thank you Steve! "

"Experience let down by breakfast service unfortunately on both mornings of a 2 night stay. I did receive a phone apology at least but now very unlikely to return with so many alternatives available in the area."

"Room nice and big in The Lodge. Good choice of breakfast from the menu albeit mushrooms maybe should be included and not a paid for extra. Staff always on it and friendly and helpful. Meal menu has plenty of choice with large portions (try the chicken gyros) plenty of cocktails and and good choice of ales/beers. Plenty of seating inside and out I always stay here when visiting Lowestoft. One of the big draws is the amazing view from the bar/terrace areas. Excellent "

"What a super little find. Although Pakefield is near Lowestoft it has a quaint old world charm about it. Typically English with the beach only 50yds away and lined with beach huts all the way to Lowestoft. The cottage is typical for the area and you can just imagine it as a fisherman's cottage, although now modernised to a high specification. Very quirky with remnants of the fairly recent tea rooms. The cottage is very comfortable and warm. Maybe too warm? Lovely views of the sea to wake up to. The hosts were very amenable with a few essentials to greet us. The whole place was very clean and smelt lovely with lots of air fresheners. Just like home from home with all the essentials you would hope for. Many big brand stores within easy reach and close to the broads and other places to visit. Definitely highly recommended."
