Top Sleat Hotel Reviews

Isle of Skye Guest house
10/10 Excellent
"Great parking. Breakfast was marginal. Staff was very accommodating."

Morar Hotel
8/10 Good
"When every thing was booked up we ended up staying at Morar Hotel for three nights instead of one. We had to do some room switching here and there as each night was booked separately due to our situation and they were most helpful in the process. It is a bit of a budget place but the location is lovely and the views amazing. The staff were great and the food was good in the restaurant. On the last night my room was a little unclean (crumbs on the floor and desk shelf) but I was tired and it really made no big difference to me, again the view was there! Overall I would recommend a stay here as there are not a ton of options in the area and things book up far in advance."

Tingle Creek Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful view of the water from both our room and the dining room. Dennis was an exceptional host and provided a delicious buffet breakfast we everything you want for breakfast."

Gillean House-Spectacular beachfront property-Skye
6/10 Okay
"This was a mixed bag. The property is rather remote, so perfect for anyone wanting to get away from the maddening crowd. It's views are lovely. It offers many amenities such as a working fireplace, washer and dryer (more on those later), beach front, lovely rooms, heated floors and towel racks in the bathrooms. The shopping area is approx. 20 mins drive away - not crazy far - and they have a few lovely cafes, shops, groceries and pharmacies When we arrived however, the house was freezing cold. We turned everything that could possibly heat the house on, and it was warm 24 hours later. But, not very welcoming. There are also strict instructions re parking. It requires you to squeeze into a specific spot between two perpendicular stone walls and maneuver around the gates at the same time. Quite a feat in a rented, unfamiliar car. Washing clothes turned into a marathon night. A head's up to the owners: your washing machines aren't like ours. At all. A user's manual would save a lot of frustration and time for your guests. So, pros and cons. I don't thing we would return but only because if the remoteness."

"The hotel is lovely and in an ideal location. Our room was not as comfortable as I would have liked. There were some maintenance issues that never got addressed despite several requests."

Armadale Castle Cabins
10/10 Excellent
"Great property. Note that it is about an hour from most key points on Skye….Portree, Talisker, quairang and not many dining options. Pick up groceries at the coop in Broadford."

Duisdale House Hotel
8/10 Good
"very friendly staff here. it is very quiet on this section of the Isle, but you are close to everywhere you will want to go. the property has plenty of parking. it is a historic, older property, so the is no AC or lift. the breakfast room is really nice and a good spot to rest in the AM."

Toravaig House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is a great place to stay while you are in the Highlands. I would definitely stay there again."

Charming 3-bedroom cottage in Aird of Sleat with ocean-view and WiFi.
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage in southern Skye, stunning views of the rugged coastline and sea and a thrill ride of a road for the last few miles. Ideal for relaxing and a good starting point for exploring the rest of the Island. Highly recommended if you are happy to self-cater, the cottage is fully equipped and extremely comfortable."
