The Private Suite is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful views of the snowcapped Cascade Mountains. A new favorite activity, Stargazing, reveals the brilliance of BBR's incredible night sky. Wine tasting, enjoying local cuisine and music, as well as annual festivals are favorite activities at BBR and in Sisters. The host communicated very well and provided crystal-clear check-in and check-out instructions.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. The only thing we found off-putting was that the dishes, coffee pot, and tea were located in the bathroom near the toilet. My sister washed everything before use and moved the coffee setup into the bedroom. I would stay here again it was lovely.

Great stay for a vacation with friends!

We really enjoyed and appreciated Mary Jo’s hospitality and nicely appointed private suite to stay at. The room was large, bed was very comfortable, nice towels and everything you need. The ranch has so many activities with more nearby. Would highly recommend for a getaway for 2 people.

Family get away

We booked Kramers corner so we could be close to family during that had previously booked a home. We had a good experience, room was clean with all the amenities we needed. It was equivalent size of having a hotel room. We were not there much, did not use the washer and dryer. They have a bird feeder outside the private suite window connected to small outside patio. We thought it was strange that they filled it on Saturday one day before we left when it was only half empty as they could see inside our room. Keep blinds closed when you leave and enjoy all the amenities of black butte as it is beautiful with trails, golfing, spa and swimming.

Cozy, clean little apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this large bedroom plus bathroom outfitted with everything we needed for simple food preparation like heating soup and making sandwiches. The hosts are careful to give the guests privacy and provide a separate side entrance through the laundry room. There’s also a nice little patio right off the hallway to the room. Black Butte Ranch is very quiet at night. Checkin was a little more complicated than your average VRBO because you have to check in at the Ranch Welcome Center before 6pm before heading to the rental. But once checked in it was simple to get in and out of the Black Butte Ranch gate for the rest of our stay. This is personal preference, but could be helpful for other partnered guests: the king bed is comfortable and plush but it’s the type of mattress that’s a bit bouncy and transfers movements - challenging if you’re light sleepers. Overall a pleasant stay in a pleasant location!

Base for hiking

We enjoyed our stay in this spotless, very quiet, high-ceilinged room with comfortable bed, private deck, and large bathroom. Our friendly host greeted us and gave us a thorough orientation. The kitchenette is fine for coffee, tea, toast, and rewarming purchased food; if guests wish to microwave frozen dinners, be aware that the mini-fridge has no freezer.

Exactly what I needed.
