At this home, you will also have access to community amenities such as a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, basketball courts, and gym, so you will have no dull moments on this vacation. When you want to venture out a bit, Black Butte Ranch offers guests 1,800 acres of nature to explore, including over 18 miles of hiking and biking trails. Plus, the resort has two championship golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding to enjoy. When you return to home base each evening, the full kitchen will come in handy for whipping up tasty meals, and the lofted living area will be just the place to kick back for a movie night before hitting the hay!

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Relaxing respite in the trees
A comfortable cabin nestled amongst the pines. A very quiet cabin and neighborhood with games and movies to relax. A short hop to the Glaze Meadow pool area for swimming or snow sport rentals. Sisters is a short 15 minute drive for more exploring and food options.

Nice cozy home, close to amenities. Is a dated home with loud appliances. Downstairs bathroom sink drained really slow. Had to wash dishes before using them. King bed is way to soft for our liking. Did serve all of our needs for this stay though.

Beware of additional fees
The listing does NOT accurately display that the amenities are an additional fee that MUST be paid to enter the gated community whether used or not. This was a surprising and disappointing encounter especially given that check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am so those arrival and departure dates provide very little time to even used amenities that have a closing/ open time and many facilities were closed for the season. For example, if you have children, they are not allowed into the pool until after 10am. One of the two sites open did not allow children under 8y/o. I can understand the set up of this gated community, but I feel that VRBO did an extremely poor job of disclosing this and the facility site even expressed this yet demanded their fees. It set a very poor tone to our trip. Coming into the rental with dishes left to be put away, an oven/stove which seems to be on it's last leg and taking double the amount of cooking time because of it was, soured our arrival as well. Overall, it was a nice home and location but we feel that given the price and the way that details were disclosed we would not stay or recommend to others. One recommendation I have for other, if you are interested in staying at Black Butte Ranch, ONLY book direct through their site otherwise you will encounter some vague and misleading details. We are a family with young children and funds for a big trip are tight, we pre-plan and budget accordingly. It can be hard to do that when all details are not apparent on the original booking page.

Nice House with nice location with Terrible Property Manager
First of all, we liked the layout of the house as well as how well it was furnished. However, the house was not completely cleaned - sheets still in dryer, other sheets had debris on them. Carpet had many pet stains (yes it is pet friendly but this was over the top) and a lot of dog hair on rugs within the house. Holes in window screens allowed bugs to infiltrate the house when windows open in evening, which was only way to cool off house with no AC or portable fans in house. In addition the countertops were sticky when we arrived. The property manager was unresponsive when these issues were alerted to them in their inquiry at arrival and at departure. Unfortunately in over 47 years of staying in homes at Black Butte Ranch, this experience was unforgettable, but not for positive reasons, due to the property manager.

Early Christmas at Black Butte Ranch
This was a cute place. We had an early Christmas with family from Salem and 3 of us from Bend. We took our dogs, which was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook and prepare meals. We were comfortable and cozy here!
