I highly recommend checking out the Urbanist House nearby, where a short 3-minute show provides a fascinating insight into the city's challenges and successes. However, there was a small issue with my booking. Despite being computer literate, I did not receive the proper booking ID, and I am unsure whether this was due to Hotels.com or the hotel itself. Thankfully, the hotel provided a quick response via WhatsApp, and the issue was resolved in minutes—great customer service! For a short stay (like my two-night visit), the compact, windowless room was fine, but I’m not sure I would spend an entire week in such a small space. From 7 AM to 8 PM forget about sleeping or working, even with earplugs, at least if you get a room facing the construction site (I suspect others are better but perhaps not by much) - I learned upon asking how housekeeping works: it’s free but you have to ask 1 day in advance. Next time I will spend a little more and choose another hotel. ##### Voyageur vérifié Séjour de 3 nuits en septembre 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Voyageur vérifié 7 juin 2024 Points forts : Propreté, service et personnel, état et installations de l’hébergement et confort de la chambre. #### ST Signature Tanjong Pagar: un très bon plan Le ST Signature Tanjong Pagar est super bien situé, il est à 10 min de Chinatown ainsi que de sa station de métro, et à 5 min de celles de Maxwell et de Tanjong Pagar. J'avais auparavant lu des avis biaisés quant aux travaux qui se situent juste devant l'entrée du ST Signature mais nous n'entendons pas le bruit une fois rentrer donc pas du tout dérangeant. Contrairement au site qui disait qu'il n'y avait pas de réceptionniste, il y a des personnes à l'entrée qui se chargent de votre check-in et check-out. Concernant la propreté, les femmes de ménages passaient très régulièrement de partout donc tout était propre et les gens sont généralement très respecteux du site. La cuisine était opérationnelle et fonctionnelle. La chambre était propre, conforme aux photos du site un peu poussiéreuse à mon arrivée mais rien de trop dérangeant ou d'alarmant. Il me semble que les murs sont assez fins donc il se peut que vous entendiez vos voisins le soir parler, regarder la télé... Le système de clés automatiques et codes des portes marchent très bien, et est très pratique. L'ambiance et l'atmosphère sont bien, il y a souvent une bonne entente dans la cuisine lorsque vous croisez d'autre voyageurs. Savons, shampoings, serviettes, draps sont fournis. I loved this stay and would highly reccomend it to anyone looking to stay a night in Singapore, particularly solo travelers. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy, I genuinely felt like I was back home in my own bed. The check in process was really simple and it was nice to see a member of staff at the desk to welcome everyone despite it being an online check in. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was absolutely brilliant - after a few nights before my stay here of not so great showers the one here helped me feel genuinely clean. My only issue was that my room did not have a hair dryer and I was too late to request one as staff had gone home.
