« Latane was a very welcoming , friendly & helpful host. The IH is close to restaurants, 49th St beach access & neighborhood is quiet—great for walking, biking & running. For those not keen on those activities, Latane has a very nice golf cart for rent—perfect for exploring Oak Island. Would stay here again! Thank you! »

« Our family gathered at Oak Island for many years, but we stopped after our aunt passed away and her cottage was sold. Imagine our surprise to find the same house on VRBO. We spent two weeks there with several family members visiting during that time. What a wonderful vacation! Laura was a gracious and responsive host. « Great place over all. Very comfy and cozy. Very clean. It had everything we needed. Full size fridge and full stove. I believe there’s a trail and a pond and a little place to make a camp fire. They have a little play ground and a basketball court I think. They even had a grill on the porch. They provided coffee and they even had these cute little mints that made my day. « This was an awesome property; cute, cozy, and close to the beach. The owners were responsive and very easy to work with. Having the golf cart was a lot of fun and the owners were thoughtful enough to give specific directions on paths to stay compliant with the golf cart. This property had all the essentials you’d need-coffee makers, beach equipment, beach towels, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here! »
