The grandparents enjoyed the main floor of the house and not having to do any stairs to reach EVERYTHING they needed. The parents enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs. The 22 year old enjoyed having the entire basement -- including the HUGE tv -- to herself. There were great spaces to come together in -- the dining room, deck, and living room; but also plenty of space to spread out into. Our pups loved running around the back yard. The area is large enough that they could truly stretch their legs. The kitchen is well-stocked. We had everything we needed! I would recommend this cabin for families/groups that enjoy time together as well as value their own space! ##### Leah B. This is a beautiful house in a beautiful secluded wooded area. The only problem we had was using the key-pad to get in the first time. You have to touch the little house icon on the lower left side of the pad before entering the number, and then the deadbolt opens right away. The host was very responsive, check in was super easy. The cabin had plenty of room for our entire family. The game room was a huge hit as was the nice hot tub. Nicely appointed with two king master suites (one in an open loft), as well as an additional bedroom downstairs with a great area for hanging out. There were plenty of games, books, and even an old-school arcade game. It is situated pretty high in the mountains and the driveway is a bit steep, but it is a pull through driveway, and we were able to turn in the parking area. Both of the porches were covered and enclosed which was great for our pups. Amazing view while the trees were bare, and it would be great to visit during a warmer season to enjoy the outdoor spaces more. First time staying in the Wear Valley area. You can get there by taking some winding back roads if you want to avoid traffic. That said, the location was convenient to a lot of the tourist attractions as well. We did run into one issue, but these things can happen. The host was very responsive and did everything he could to address the issue. I would definitely book this cabin again. ##### Whitney S.
