The home is equipped with a chef's kitchen, two living rooms and activity areas, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the fresh PNW air! \- Fully equipped kitchen \- Two living rooms and two dining rooms \- Yoga/exercise room \- Laundry room \- Wrap-around deck and fully fenced-in backyard The Space: Laid out over two floors, this home features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and tons of space. In addition, you'll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for kids to run around as well as a wrap-around deck looking out to the peaceful greenery. Kitchen The light-filled mid-century design kitchen is a chef's dream. With high-end stainless steel appliances, butcher-block & granite countertops, and all required cookware and utensils, you can cook whatever your heart desires during your stay. On top of that, the kitchen is large and spacious, so everyone can lend a helping hand during mealtime! \- All cookware, utensils, and dishes \- Stainless steel appliances \- Butcher-block and granite countertops \- Peep-hole window to the dining room Living & Dining As one of the best rooms in the house, the open living and dining room is the perfect space for entertaining. Grab a spot on the plush sofa in front of the TV, curl up with a good book by the window, or chat with friends around the table while the fireplace crackles in the background. This space also opens up to the sunny deck outdoors, where you can enjoy lush forest views of the backyard. Besides the breakfast area in the main living space, there's also a separate formal dining room attached to the kitchen. The bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, working desk and sitting area. In the basement, you'll find two queen, and twin bunk bedrooms with a working desk. The sofa in the main living room can accommodate 2 more guests, while the day bed in the lower-level living room can fold into two twin beds for 2 additional guests. \- King suite on main floor \- King bedroom in the ADU \- Two Queen, and Twin bunks on lower floor \- Ample closet space \- 4 bathrooms: 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs \- Towels, linens, and toiletries The Neighborhood: When you stay here, you'll be right in the heart of Mercer Island (1 mile to I-90 and 6 miles to downtown Seattle and downtown Bellevue). You're also within walking distance (1/2 miles) of multiple parks, including Mercerdale Park, Homestead Filed, and Clise Park, as well as numerous grocery stores like Metropolitan Market and QFC. But if you prefer eating out, there are several shops, coffee shops, and restaurants located several blocks away. If your stay is over the weekend, don't forget to check out Mercer Island Farmers Market open between 10AM-3PM on Sunday. From the home, there are also several public beaches within a 1-mile radius (Calkins Point Sand Beach is a local favorite). Other Things to Note: 1- The hot water tank is a smaller size. If you're traveling with a larger group (more than 5 people), please stagger your showers to ensure everyone has access to hot water. 2- Street parking can be a little tricky. 2 parking spots on the driveway is dedicated for guests. 3- No central AC 4- Kids amenity includes booster chair and kids dinnerware. It was an extremely convenient and comfortable property and communication with the property manager was excellent as I requested a change in our dates and they were very accommodating.I would suggest that the property update a few items. The steps to the basement can be dangerous if you are not paying attention, so a hand rail would be preferred as well as updating the lighting in that area. The space was comfortable, and the host ensured everything we needed was available. We had an amazing time and felt at home the entire stay. A pool table or ping pong table would have made it super perfect, but everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in a great location. We decided to spend a month on Mercer Island with the kids and could not have been happier with the property. Very spacious, well appointed, and well maintained. On the outside, the back yard is enormous with plenty of room. The upstairs patio has a wonderful sitting area where we enjoyed watching the sunsets. The management company was always very prompt, easy to communicate with, and very attentive. We had one minor problem during our month stay and they were on it immediately. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and a pleasant walk to downtown. (Uphill on the way back so get ready!)
