The hotel was very charming. It has a lot of personality. The sheets feel crisp and clean, the towels are fluffy, and the provided soaps, shampoo and conditioner are great quality. There's a full kitchen, minus stoves for safety apparently.
Cute. Vintage. The bathroom was small but everything worked fine. There was a portable air conditioner in the room which was nice to have when the weather was muggy. Staff were friendly. The location was nice and quiet. Within walking distance to QFC, the paramount theatre, and the Seattle library. And I believe the bus took you right to pike’s market place.
Great location. Close to downtown. Clean, comfortable rooms. The price was excellent compared to other hotels in the area. I would happily stay here again
They charge 25 bucks a day for parking, the hotel is filthy, there are 4 lamps for 3 rooms so its super dark and none of the main light work. There were gross stains all over the place. We only booked this hotel due to it saying parking was included and not listing parking charges but they do charge! Due to the filthy nature of the hotel attempted to cancel before we even checked in and they refused. The hotel really is disgusting. We went to a hotel by the airport with free parking, super clean, free breakfast for half the price! This was a nightmare experience.
Has a cool old feel. Very nice. Throwback vibes, felt like a kid of the 70s again. The spot has an older vibe but it is very clean and doesn't have bad smells. No AC, but hopefully they will add them to each room for the brief heat spells of the summer. G line is a block away and they run every 10 minutes so getting downtown and back is a breeze. Plenty of shops to eat near by and its pretty quiet at night. Peace UNCLE SHREDDED WHEAT
Stayed here for several nights while a family member had surgery at Harborview. The hotel is comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms are old, and it's a little noisy in the neighborhood. But it was great for what I needed and a reasonable price for Seattle.

Very basic, very affordable accommodations in a very expensive city. Just as an example, a very basic breakfast for 2 at a nearby hotel was 1/3 of the price we paid to spend the night here.
It was just what we needed: clean room, comfortable bed, quiet hotel, low price. Located very close to all the action at the waterfront and Pike Street Mkt.. The only issue I had, there was no staff present in the hotel. If their services were needed you had to visit their property across the street.
We were very happy with what we paid, this is the second time I stayed here. This will be my go to hotel if I visit again
Extremely handy to Virginia Mason medical complex. It is across from Inn at Virginia Mason, where The Rho cafe serves Mon-Fri 7am-9m - with friendly service, good food, super handy. All hotel staff from front desk to room cleaners were very friendly, helpful, efficient. Recommend this as a good place to stay for medical travel as well as just visiting Seattle.
Vintage flair which gives this place some character!! We enjoyed our stay!! Staff super nice and helpful! Comfy beds and pillows, clean linens and towels! Great stay for a great price! Would stay again!
Hotel is dated but in very good condition and clean. It was an affordable option to be downtown

This is quite an old hotel which was formerly an apartment building. We had a bedroom with two single beds, a large living room and modest bedroom The rooms had not been updated but the hotel did what they could with lovely duvets and fluffy towels.
The biggest disappointment were the amenities. There were none. No front desk staff - you had to go across the street to another hotel to check in and check out. No breakfast room - again across the street.
There was only one elevator which was very shaky. Cleaning staff was nice.

I stayed there to be in close proximity to a friend who had surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital - was convenient (across the street from the hospital); felt safe in the area around the hospital (but never went more then 2 blocks away); the furniture was dated and a bit worn; the room was clean; shower was hot

Room…clean clean! Location excellent for First Hill Swedish. Parking price reasonable & close. Microwave & fridge! Elevator! Friendly staff! Will be back!
Felt like a step back in time to the 1930's!
Even the elevator was a classic.
Very comfortable, clean, and attractive.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Easy and convenient parking.
Great food across the street and many good options less than a block away.
Also, a perfect spot for visiting the adjacent hospital.

Very vintage...in a dated way. Beds were very comfy! In order to get fresh air, we had to open windows...but very noisy...trash collection is EARLY! Room fan is provided.
