Less than 1 mi to UW and Children's, minutes to downtown will not disappoint. Plentiful parking, walking distance to bus/light rail. Features full kitchen, fireplace, spacious rooms, but you'll also enjoy a private garden with a fire pit and dining area! One thing's for certain, by the time your trip comes to an end, you'll fit in just like a local. This mother-in-law apartment has a separate exterior entrance from the back yard. The kitchen with a gas range is well stocked with cooking utensils, knifes, pots pans and basic cooking supplies (flour, spices). Your host lives upstairs. I have two teenage kids who are here quite often and respectful of guest privacy. The unit is family friendly and in a quiet neighborhood of classic Seattle homes. Walking distance to the Burke Gilman trail, U Village Shopping center, UW and Ravenna Park. Bedroom has a queen size bed and sofa in the living room is a very comfortable pull out queen. The backyard area is shared space and you are welcome to use the patio and yard during your stay. Perfect for long term stays for family's with kids at Children's or post-doc work at UW. Both are within a mile. There was a lock door from upstairs to the downstairs. Being alone made me very uneasy. I could hear walking all evening. If things were dropped upstairs it made a huge noise downstairs.
