"The room was clean but a little tired. There were also lots of tiny ants in both rooms and above our master bed. The patio was nice with a view. The air conditioning was very weak and no fans. There is only a bath tub with a shower to spray yourself sitting down! The breakfast was nice and included but the young lady in the breakfast room making the pancakes was not very friendly or welcoming. The pool was good but lots of flies around so we just went back to the room. It was nice for the night but I wouldn’t run back. But we loved visiting with the tiny momma cat with her three kittens."

"Staff was great. Location is right downtown and a 5 minute drive from the hot springs. The town is so beautiful and the food and wine there was incredible. 10/10. Saturnia was amazing even in the hot weather. It's still refreshing and just fantastic. If you're thinking about going, go."

"Somehow I missed that this was a camp ground when I was booking. However, if I was expecting camping, it would be great. It is well shaded right by a beautiful beach. The pool was smaller than expect, but I enjoyed the water aerobic class in the evening. We had a superior tent. It was stifling hot inside when we arrived. It took some time to cool off. The cooling system was not great. The staff were very pleasant. There was a great outdoor cooking area. Overall, I would command this place for a camping getaway."

"The staff was very kind, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Right out of a Tuscan rom-com, the hotel has a beautiful entry and garden and is in a gorgeous Tuscan setting. Ask for the room with the patio. It was great for morning coffee. The town of Castel del Piano was lively with locals in the piazza and shop keepers sweeping to make clean and welcoming store fronts."

"We had the best time in Saturnia with Susan and Bruno’s property! It was large enough to hold my entire family with room to spare, we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The yard and pool were amazing and gave the kids a wonderful opportunity to play outside after long days of travel and activities. This house was the perfect launchpad to explore and relax in Tuscany, historical cities within a few hours drive. While Saturnia is a smaller city, the restaurants and towns itself is charming and exactly what we needed. We relaxed every evening on the sun porch and got to take in the spectacular views of the rolling hills in Tuscany. The sunsets at this property are unbelievable! It was a dream come true. Susan was an incredible host! I can not thank her enough for assisting and answering questions prior to our arrival. Susan was extremely responsive and answered questions immediately for us. Susan assisted with coordinating a chef coming to the property two nights for our family. Very well worth it! She made her property feel like home for us. Sad our time there has ended but, my family and I have discussed coming back for a visit!! This property and Susan are one of a kind!!"
