"I cannot say enough about this property! From the minute we arrived we were treated like family! Every aspect of the property is amazing! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa attached to the winery and it was perfect for our needs. Our room was meticulous each day. The restaurant on site was so good and the staff was so attentive, we felt like family! Included free breakfast was fresh and fabulous and arranged by the sweetest lady each morning. Definitely book a wine tasting with their brilliant, young wine maker and try their wines-they are delicious! You’ll want to take some home. The views from the property are breathtaking! We all literally said “pinch me” because it was too beautiful to be real! Take the dusty, windy roads through this beautiful area and definitely don’t miss Podere Montale! "

"I don't think I have enough good things to say about the experience here at Podere Montale Il Borgo. The rooms are very nice, water pressure and temperature at the showers is amazing as well... bed is comfortable... but above all.... the scenery and the Estate is breathtaking. From the arrival you can tell how much work has been done for the guests to feel welcome, and how intentional have all design decisions been. The people we interacted with were amazing and super accommodating as well, the sommelier recommended some wine —pretty good wine too!— and the rest of the staff made our stay perfect. "We stayed here for 4 nights. This is an excellent property with the most beautiful landscaping and design. We had dinner in the main dining room. Simply, wow… exceptional food and service. We had drinks and a light dinner in the bar, excellent. Breakfast has something for everyone, and again, excellent quality and products. The staff in every part of the resort is superior. I am not an influencer nor have I had a paid stay. I tried to get accommodations in the autumn but it was fully booked, so I am here now mid April. A genuinely perfect time to come. We are currently by the pool, enjoying our last few hours… beautiful and calm. I highly recommend la Locanda Rossa. Having a car is a good option. So much to see in the surrounding area."

"It was a very charming villa with interesting art, and personality. We were under the impression there was a pool, hot tub and dryer, none of which were really the case (the pool was there but drained and the other two didn’t seem to be there at all) but we had a great time regardless. "

"We were so impressed with this hotel. We purchased a home locally and needed a place to stay at a moment’s notice. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was so friendly and engaging and the breakfast was terrific. The room we purchased was the one with the hot tub/Jacuzzi. Everything was so clean and the tub was a great relief. We highly recommend this hotel."
