When you need a quiet place to relax, you can return home to sit on the patio while your children play in the yard or cozy up on the couch to watch a movie on the 65” TV. The house and kitchen were outfitted in a considerate way.Neighborhood was quiet despite the large New Year's Eve event occurring six blocks away. It was great that you could walk into a mudroom area and have hooks to hang up our things before going into the main part of the house. The laundry was right there too so it was convenient. The kitchen was a good size and we had everything we needed to prepare food. The house is on a quiet street with easy access to downtown. Communication with the host was excellent. She responded whenever I had any questions.The only thing worth mentioning for some people. I am almost 6 ft tall and have bad hips and knees. The couch was low and didn't even come up to my knee so it was very hard and uncomfortable for me to get up and down from it. It was a comfortable couch just didn't use much because of the height. I mostly sat at the table. Same for the master bedroom. I let my daughter have that room since the bed is modern and very low as well. It was our first visit to Saratoga Springs. This was a lovely home with many extras - the kitchen was well stocked! The beds/accomodations were comfortable and the location was quiet and convenient to downtown and SPAC. While there, we lost power and Nikki was great about communicating with us.
