"We had a holiday on Madeira in May and stayed in Anna's house for 10 days. Anna, the hostess, is a very nice and hospitable lady, and so is her helper, Eli. The house is very clean, and the kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the garden is breathtaking. It's just a few minutes' drive from the airport and the pretty seaside village of Santa Cruz. A local snack bar, frequented by locals, is within a two-minute walk."

"The night before I booked the Vrbo as I was flying in from the United States and needed a place to stay for one night before going to the resort. I’m less the 8 hours I found out my plane reservation got switched. I email and asked if I could get at least a portion of my money back and he said no. Eight hours before he had no one, so it wasn’t like I blocked others from coming. I just felt he was rude and not at all flexible."
