"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"Nos pusieron 2 toallas de ducha y dos de baño para 4 días y 4 personas,nos faltaban sábanas para las dos camas abatibles,se iba la luz al poner el microondas,la cafetera tenía rota el asa...al coger el café caliente había que hacer malabares y en general le hace falta renovación de mobiliario,los digas con manchas y quemaduras de cigarrillo,por lo demás la estancia bien,camas cómodas y bien ubicado el lugar."

"Apartment smelled of smoke, washing machine door broken, no cooker , beds uncomfortable very very hard like sleeping on floor. Towel change once a week, no cleaning , cutlery- we had to buy a knife as theirs blunt. Surroundings of building dirty , broken pipes, does not look like the picture. Other hotel - gym dirty and only few equipment , need a car to drive up to it. Very very basic overall. Reception not there on weekends and one day in the week."

"A very comfortable house in a lovely place, close to Santander and beaches, and with lovely walks straight from the door. Dog-friendly with a large and fully enclosed garden. Estuvimos 15 persona y no nos cabia toda la compra. Por poner una pega, mejoraria las almohadas, la zona de la piscina que esta un poco salvaje, y el sofa cama es para que duerman niños, ya que el colchon no es apto para adultos. "The hosts were fantastic, they responded to queries quickly and were really helpful. They also gave us produce from their garden including delicious green peppers and tomatoes. The house itself needs some updating, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was perfect for a splash about on hot afternoons. We had a lovely holiday exploring the coast, the Picos de Europa and sampling local cuisine. The location was good for getting out and about by car."

"The hotel is fabulous. Full of charm, with a vintage car in reception! The junior suite was such a treat. I loved the jacuzzi bath! Staff couldnt do enough for us. If I had to pick out one "less than perfect" thing it would be the towels. Maybe a bit better quality would reflect the 5 stars."
