"Staff were very nice. Rooms were simple but effective. Heating was working (some reviews dud not understand that there was a switch on the side as well as he temp control.) hot water also good. Fridge, basic cooking equipment plates etc. Bring a corkscrew and a small coffee percolator if you need them. Towels and bed sheets with a duvet all clean etc. "

"The place is adorable but very old amenities like the showers, etc. The grounds are nice with a beautiful pool. There is a cute, old playground and tennis court. Breakfast is good. The pillows and mattresses were uncomfortable and bathroom grout could use some scrubbing. The host and employees were extremely nice and welcoming. "The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"The apartment is within steps (literally) of the town market, the Elevator to the university, and the main pedestrian plaza. It faces a pedestrian alley and is quiet at night. "Fabulous stay and luxury experience for an affordable cost. Enjoyed dining at the hotel for dinner and breakfast In Luxe surroundings. Breakfast can be on the outdoor terrace overlooking the garden. Hiked to the top and enjoyed the stations of the cross and other chapels that adorned our “way” dating back to the 1600s. Beautiful nature. Tranquility at its finest. Highly recommend.
