The best area to stay in Sandvik is generally around the village centre, particularly near the harbour, offering the most convenient access to amenities and local life.

This area provides a central base for exploring the village. You'll find a selection of local shops, eateries, and a bakery within easy walking distance. The harbour itself is a focal point, often bustling with boats and offering pleasant views. The main road through the village, Ölandsvägen, connects you to these key spots.

Couples looking for a relaxing and convenient stay will appreciate the village centre. You're close to everything you need, from a morning coffee to an evening meal, and can easily take strolls along the waterfront. Many of the guesthouses and holiday homes in this area are well-equipped, offering a comfortable base for your holiday.

For those interested in exploring the surrounding nature and historical sites, staying slightly outside the immediate village centre but still within a short driving distance can be ideal. Areas just off Ölandsvägen offer more secluded accommodation options, often with larger gardens, while still providing quick access to Sandvik's amenities and the wider Öland island.
