"This hotel is in a pleasant and easily walkable neighborhood. The rooms are nice, it's quiet, it's kept clean, and the rooftop deck is awesome. But the best part is Emilio. He rushed out to help us with parking before we even got to the door. He reassured us about our travel plans after the disturbing events of late February 2026. If you're going to Ciudad Oaxaca, this is where you should stay."

"Check in was fast and staff were helpful. There is also a lady who can arrange tours and taxis, who is very informative. The wifi speed was good, approximately 85 Mbps and was consistent. The tv had satellite tv channels. There is coffee, water, fruit teas and fruit available 24/7 in the dining room. The included breakfast was fruit on a bed of yogurt, 3 hot options such as bacon & eggs, pancakes, tacos, omelette sandwich also fruit juice, toast and bread rolls. The main problem with breakfast was it did not start until 8am which was too late if you were going on an early morning tour. The room had a large, comfortable bed, table & chairs, a microwave & fridge. The bathroom was small, with no plug in the sink. Hot water came from solar energy so took awhile to come through but was ok. The room, although spacious, was gloomy with one small window overlooking the courtyard and no balcony. The location is excellent, opposite the Mercado Benito Juarez and a short walk to Zocalo Square with lots of restaurants. Nearby is Nativo Spa which does good massages."

"Room 11 is next to some maintenance room that had a constant noise all night. We stayed three nights and moved the third night to a different room that was quiet and comfortable. Property is in a great location. Staff are very nice. We ordered guacamole the first night and surprisingly we were told 20 min later that the avocados aren't ripe- we are in Mexico so a bit odd... "

"Got room 1.5hr after check in time. We reserved 3 rooms all same type but one of them was lower category. We had to take that room for 1 night. But we requested a change and hotel gave us a higher end for the rest of our stay. Question is: why they did not give the same 3 rooms from the beginning. What's the purpose of paying to reserve the rooms if the hotel won't honor the request. Maybe they thought people won't complaint and just keep quiet. That's a very low tactic if they do that on purpose. Hope they stop doing that. Therefore I don't think I can recommend them. "
