The unit and building is not in the luxury category as its somewhat dated, but the beachfront location, patio views, parking and convenient access to all SD has to offer makes up the difference. Besides, a trip to SD should be more about experiencing the city than hanging around a condo. We slept well - fresh air and the waves are the only thing you hear. One small disconnect was figuring out the cable tv set up and problems with service in the 2nd bedroom. Maybe there some written instructions could be provided.
