« Hale Makai was cozy, clean and friendly. We loved being just a few steps away from the beach. There were lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The upgraded amenities made us feel at home. The owners are very thoughtful and put a lot of love into making their guests feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stay with them again and we would highly recommend the property. It wasn't an issue for us, but our only caution to future guests would be the stairs (the elevator wasn't working). »

« The hosts were amazing. Location is fantastic. The beach is so close and beautiful. An easy and quick walk from the property. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the boats go by and the seals and pelicans fishing in the jetty. Point Loma was a highlight as was Torrey Pines. Beautiful views everywhere you looked. One note on the beaches in San Diego…watch out for the sting rays! Didn’t know you’re supposed to do the “sting ray shuffle” with your feet so they will move away from you....

« Everything about our stay was perfect. The location. The rooms, the kitchen, the view! It was just a beautiful home. The bunk beds allowed for my 3 teens to share a room but not share a bed. The closeness to the beach allowed for easy access back and forth to the beach. Loved that it was so close to all the restaurants and shops. I would stay here again f we came back to san diego. The owner has a great manual for any questions/ recommendations for places to go. But really I would just recommend...
