« The property was unique because the room we had was called the Honeymoon Suite. It had an entire kitchen plus a master suite with separate shower and an old fashioned four legged tub. Plus we had a private balcony and a separate entrance to come and go. Our scene each morning that we woke up to was a river with a pier where my husband fished. « We’re so happy we found this place! We loved the peaceful drive through the cornfields, the atmosphere. The house was clean, super spacious and open. Very charming, can’t say enough good things. At 8 months pregnant, I will admit that I became attached to the big bath tub after a long day. Mark also helped us out by letting us switch our reserved dates due to a family emergency, and I can’t thank him enough for that. We appreciate everything! »

« I loved this place. There was an update in 2016 and someone made the mistake of getting white carpet. Live and learn. The bed was comfortable, there was a variety of pillows, the tavern shuts down at 9:00 so its all quiet by 11:00 p.m. The tavern is superb. I’d eat there again in a heartbeat. The place is old and has some quirks and that’s something that you either like because you like historical places or you don’t because you like modern things. I’d stay here again. »
