"This is a cute cabin that is well maintained and set up. The drive out to the cabin is dirt road and rough in spots but well worth it. Secluded cabin with trees and mountain view. The owner was very accommodating to us . We were traveling with 9 people and a dog. The beds were comfortable. The listing mentions a set of bunk beds. However those were not there. "We would absolutely stay here again! We had a late check-in that they were gracious to accommodate and were very responsive. The place is a vibe with all design and decor decisions were all made with purpose from the property to our Pee-Wee Airstream. There were no surprises and the bathrooms for the campers were immaculate. When I finally had a chance to meet a staff member in the morning, she was very kind and helpful. We can’t wait to come back again!"

"For the value this is a clean place to stay. The pros are that it was clean, and pet friendly. The cons: I walked in, and the smell of fabuloso about knocked me over. I had to clean that up with some natural cleaners I had, and air it out for hours on I even be able to breathe. If you’re sensitive to toxins, just a warning. For such a beautiful place in the mountains, and nature, I would have hoped for a scent free environment free of parabens. Plug on the tub was broken, so water wouldn’t stay in. Also, the dead bolt had been removed, that kind of freaked me out as a solo traveler. The property was pretty run down, but it looked like it was for sale, so I guess that’s why there was no staff in the main building. There is a phone number in case you have questions, but other than that no one on the premises. There was what looked like an apartment upstairs, and it sounded like someone was nailing art to the walls or remodeling literally until 2-3 am. I didn’t sleep very well, but again, for the money, if you need a place to crash, and you’re not picky, this will do. Would have been 5 stars all around with these things fixed. Maybe next time! "

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Salida. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff was very accomodating. The hot tub and pool were fun for the kids. Breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. "
