"Excellent property, very well presented and clean throughout.No air conditioning in the lounge / dining areas but there are plenty of glazed doors to open. Bedrooms all very comfortable and AC.Great external spaces for lounging, dining and pool equipment provided.All communication and responses from the host were excellent and very helpful. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Bahia. We couldn't have wanted a better room, right on the sea front with magnificent views. Breakfast was included in our stay and was amazing, all fresh and loads of choice. We chose to have evening buffet a couple of times. Again, the food was excellent and extremely good value for money. I would recommend this hotel overall but there are a few negatives. 1) the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Fortunately, we had a car so went seeking beautiful beaches. 2) The area of the beach opposite the hotel is OK but not the best, however, if you walk along the front to the end of the strip, the beach gets much better near the dunes. 3) Parking is on the streets and not always easy to find a space. I can imagine it being a nightmare in main season. 4) The room was made up daily but never properly cleaned. Tea and coffee was never replaced and dirty glasses were just left for us to keep using the whole of our 11 night stay. However, towels were changed daily regardless of if we hung them up or left on the floor as per the instructions."

"A nice hotel, in a great location not too far of a walk into the centre. We went on a couples trip, adult pool does get busy so you do need to get there before it opens to queue. Guests were offered a drink on check in (I saw on the day of check out) we were not offered any drink on check in. Rooms do not have irons and there wasn’t any available from reception for a few days. Found some of the staff to be abit rude"

"The hotel was as pictured and the staff was super friendly and helpful. You can tell they like their jobs. The room was clean and we got upgraded to a pool view upon arrival. The pillows could be softer but I used one the extra comforters in the closet for extra padding. Also daily room service which was great for clean towels when needed. The hotel is in a great location walkable to shops and the beach. People walked and biked along the path during the day and night. Super safe location. Parking in the street outside the hotel is safe and available. I was worried about space but it all worked out fine. Thanks for the great trip!"
