« Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help. »

« Our room at Elder Grove was not only spotless, it was a lovely room tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for and more. A large spacious bath with excellent shower, plenty of large fluffy towels and very importantly a large daylight mirror for ease of makeup application and a hairdryer with diffuser for curly girls and boys. Comfortable chairs in the window to watch the world go by and enjoy the views, a large screen TV on an arm for viewing from the very ample sized...

« Lovely hotel which was very comfortable and right up our street. We only had breakfast which was plentiful and very nice. The best bit for us was the location of the hotel which was just fab -walks from the door and a couple of pubs in walking distance. »

« Self check instructions were clear. Room was serviced while we were out. Help via the phone was immediate when we needed it. Room clean and spacious. All very good. Only downside was that car park was a good 5-8 minute walk away… but at least there was parking as opposed to there being none. Needed window open as warm weather but that lead to noise disturbance. Of course that was due to fabulous central location - I realise you can’t have central and quiet! I’d stay again, thank you. »
