« The cottage was beautiful! We loved our stay, it was quiet and peaceful. We fished off the dock, floated around and went for some paddleboat rides along the river. The cottage has all the basic necessities and was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the big deck over looking the river or on the dock. « We had a fantastic stay. Waking up and enjoying a cup of tea with only the sounds of nature around you. We left all the stress of the city behind for the weekend. The cabin was adorable with everything we needed..the bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of it. 10/10 will be back. Carolyn and Paul were great hosts. Before we left we took a tour for the animal sanctuary. Which was the cherry on top of a great weekend »

« My family stayed here over Easter weekend and enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful and the property is nice, since it was still chilly we enjoyed watching the birds on the water from inside. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was down almost our whole visit which apparently was out of the owners control. My only other complaints would be that the main floor was chilly as there is only 2 vents in the main area. The property manager was under the impression that there was electric baseboard heaters...

« The location of the cottage is great. Stayed with our family and friends. Contains 2 renovated clean bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The place has a lot of cons. The living room is really spacious, but does not have any AC. We had to open windows which do not have mosquito screens (there are a lot of mosquito). There is no dining table too. The recreation room has plenty of games (tennis, table soccer, mini basketball), but everything looks so neglected and damaged. But in general, the house...

« Communication was top notch from the moment we booked. Welcome pamphlet with info on things like the hot tub and tv/cable use and local stores/restaurants/emergency services was nice to have. The property manager also left us a nice little gift of a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a sweet touch. We were looking for a nice quiet weekend away and this was the perfect place for it! »
