The accommodation is made up of two floors, well decorated and equipped with all modern comforts. On the first floor of the apartment there is a large sunny sofa area with parquet floor and vaulted ceiling. A small fireplace gives character and authenticity to the house and makes the room suitable for Family reunion or just to get relaxed on the comfy black leather sofa. On the same floor the main bedroom is equipped with a large double bed and ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi, essential therapy after a long day through the Roman glories. The second bedroom with two single beds is not far from the double room but gives privacy in case of family or group of friends. From the sofa area we have access to the second floor by an elegant wooden fly of steps which leads directly in the sunny kitchen totally equipped and completely surrounded by the large terrace where it is possible to enjoy breakfast or a candle-light dinner under the romantic Roman sky. The terrace is also provided with table, chairs and enjoys of a panoramic view. Next to the kitchen there is a second bathroom with walking shower. The Apartment is suitable for maximum 7 people including the double sofa bed on the first floor and the single bed on the second floor. The Neighborhood Located in the middle of the City, between the Shopping district and the Centro Storico, the accommodation is a perfect and strategic spot to easily enjoy the Roman riches. On the north the Tridente, Rome's most glamorous district full of elegant boutiques, fashionable bars and swish hotels all around the Spanish Steps and via dei Condotti. On the right side the Quirinale, home of the extraordinary Trevi Fountain and the imposing presidential Palazzo del Quirinale. The Restaurant downstairs is solid, the sandwich shop in the Piazza right outside is gold, and you can walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Many notable churches (with Caravaggios) and almost anything else in Rome within minutes. This was our first time having a host meet us at the property, and we were glad he did. First Francesco is a wonderful human and was very helpful, but also remember this is a 500 year old building, it is going to have a few reasonable idiosyncrasies, and he was helpful in navigating those as well. Having Francesco was a huge positive for the property and the whole trip.There's absolutely nothing negative to say about the property itself. Our family of four felt we had a ton of room and a great experience. You can definitely hear if some of the residents or visitors are being especially loud downstairs; we heard late night singing and shenanigans several times, but only when they were being especially loud. If you are unwilling to be in the hustle and bustle of Rome (reminded us of NYC) the minute you step out of the building this may not be for you, but if you want to have Rome right outside your building it's a wonderful place to stay.The coolest thing happened right when we were getting acclimated, several of Rome's Beautiful Green Parakeets were singing and flying around the rooftop right across the way. ##### Clayton K. Loved being able to walk 5 min to the Trevi Fountain at 5 AM to avoid the crowds! Charming area and walkable to any point in the city. Francesco checked us in and made sure we were at home-showing us the apartment and points of interest. He helped with transportation to and from train station as well. Beds were comfortable, temp in apt was good, as it was hot in Rome the days we were there. Although we were busy, the apartment had enough room for our family of 5 to relax in the living room, kitchen or out on terrace. The apartment was incredibly clean, plenty space for a family of four, the balcony have an unobstructed view of the street directly beneath it. The terrace is more charming than expected, we had many beautiful breakfasts there. It is perfectly located, just a short walk the site, taxi station, bus.. Viviana was incredibly responsive to our questions and needs. Francesco gave us a warm welcome and gave us ample information of the apartment and the city. We felt right at home, Viviana and Francesco were wonderful host, We would stay there again and would definitely recommend this listing to anyone visiting the area. Nguyen Family ##### Hong N. The apartment is in the best location between the Trevi fountain and the Panthenon. The area is fantastic with restaurants, shops and our favourite chocolate shop on the corner. Francesco was really helpful and made check-in easy and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We loved Rome and the stay at this flat made it all the more special. ##### Dawn C. The hosts are wonderful and take the time to tell you all the best places to go. We ate amazing food every day and became friends with the cafe owners downstairs. We had an amazing experience staying in this Penthouse, it was walking distance to all the sights, clean and plenty of room. We loved hanging out on the terrace in the morning and evening. The elevator was a must after waking 25,000 steps a day! The host was wonderful! Met us on arrival and great communication throughout our stay. We took our family of 5 to Rome for a fabulous vacation. We really loved our apartment! It was located in a safe, yet action packed area. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. The large rooftop porch was my favorite part! The view was awesome! The host was wonderful with answering all my questions pre vacation. During our stay, the apartment contact person "Clara" was superb! She really helped me out when my son unexpectedly ill. Clean, comfortable, very well equipped! We especially loved the large rooftop terrace to drink coffee in the morning and in wind with a glass of wine in the evening.
