While I have nothing negative to say about the property itself, the location was extremely concerning. It is situated on what felt like a very unsafe street, right next to the train terminal, where there were many people who made us feel uncomfortable. During our stay, my brother was chased by a 4 strangers, assaulted, and had his phone stolen. After that, we were too afraid to walk anywhere. We also had someone attempt to look through the main door, which made us feel even more unsafe. The host appeared to have taken reasonable security measures for the property itself, such as installing cameras, but unfortunately that doesn’t change the safety of the surrounding area. I believe the listing should be more transparent about the neighborhood so guests can make an informed decision. While the apartment itself was fine, I would not recommend staying here because of the location.
