ALTIERI LOFT PANTHEON

Wonderful loft located in the Palazzo Altieri, one of the most beautiful buildings of the Roman nobility, built in 1554 by the architect Giovanni Antonio de Rossi, author of the Palazzo Bonaparte. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and enjoys a fantastic view over the roofs of Rome and the dome of the Pantheon. The apartment is on two levels . On the first one there is a large living room with a sofa convertible to a double bed and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is an double bed area and a single sofa bed area. It is a fully equipped apartment with air conditioning, dishwasher, TV, hi-fi. Classical furnishing, upholstery and fittings, high wooden ceilings and wooden floors complete this elegant apartment built in a historic building and artistic heart of Rome.

Situation parfaite mais ...

... ce bel appartement parfaitement niché dans les greniers du magnifique Palazzo Altieri mériterait le changement/rénovation d'une bonne partie de ses équipements (literie (matelas éventrés), vaisselle (pas de bol, verres à vins en plastique, ...), ustensiles de cuisine (poêles au fond cabossés), ...) ce qui ne semble pas avoir été considéré depuis un bon moment.Hormis cette réserve (à l'intention du bailleur, charge à lui d'en tenir compte pour les futurs occupants) accueil personnalisé parfait tout comme, sans revenir sur la situation et la qualité des parties communes, l'optimisation de l'espace et des espaces de couchage intelligemment pensées.

Un excellent séjour romain!

Après avoir fait de nombreux séjours à Rome nous recommandons particulièrement cet appartement : il est extrêmement bien situé, très beau (voir les photos), très propre, sans oublier Alessia, Paolo et Daniele qui sont aussi serviables que réactifs en toutes circonstances. Ne pas oublier non plus le plaisir quotidien de rentrer chaque soir dans un palais du XVIIe siècle!

Immersion dans l'ambiance romaine

L'appartement se niche tout en haut du magnifique Palazzo Altieri : le cheminement pour arriver à l'appartement est une expérience inoubliable ! Logement bien aménagé, clair et confortable, tout à fait conforme aux photos. La communication avec Alessia a été parfaite. Une excellente adresse, stratégiquement située au cœur de la Rome historique.

Highly recommend this unit. It is in a fantastic location in a great complex. You truly get a sense of Italian living. It accommodated the 5 of us(3 teenagers) with no problem. The communication with Daniele was excellent. Always quick to answer our texts. Even went above and beyond helping solve a minor issue we encountered.

Tolle Unterkunft und sehr nette Agentur

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Stadt, ist super sauber und toll ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter der Agentur sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten selten eine so nette Begrüßung und Einführung. Der einzige Makel ist die Klimaanlage. Die war kaputt. Die Agentur hat sich toll gekümmert und es gab ein Ersatzgerät und Reparatur. Da es schon einige Rezensionen zur kaputten Klimaanalge gab, sollte der Eigentümer sie endlich mal ersetzen. Das Loft ist direkt unter dem Dach und ohne Klimaanlage ist das nicht erträglich.

Rome was our first stop on this amazing trip and the Altieri Loft Pantheon property met all of our needs. The loft was roomy and centrally located where we were walking distance to the main site seeing locations e.g. Vatican, Pantheon, etc... This location is close to everything. You can easily walk to all the sites. Because you are so central, it's also really noisy. Lots of sirens! You will have some stairs before you can access the elevator and steep stairs in the unit. I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly or anyone with toddlers. The bathroom smell is real, as indicated in other reviews. It doesn't go away, so best to keep the door closed or be prepared. The beds were comfy and it was clean! From the entrance of the building you weave your way past interesting corners of the attic before reaching the suite. All is clean and normal once you're inside. Nice to have the windows open but it's loud outside. You will definitely need the AC here on hot days.

Wonderful stay!

Communication and check-in with Fabio was quick and easy. There was a booklet on basic information about the apartment as well as nearby amenities. The apartment was clean, cosy and very comfortable for a family of 5. The loft was a cute and functional touch, but the stairs are quite steep. The kitchen was stocked with basic condiments as well as coffee and sugar (we only made coffee and used the microwave and oven for heating up leftovers, we did not cook). It was beautiful weather in April so we did not use the heater or aircon. There was clothes detergent provided and the washing machine worked well. A good size clothes rack was available.Being on the top floor close to a busy road, you could hear sirens and noises at night, but the windows help to keep some of it out. The apartment is on the top floor and the view of the rooftops and street below gave a nice Italian vibe. There is an elevator available if you don't wish to climb the three floors to the apartment, but there are still a few steps which cannot be avoided. The building itself is old and rustic with a historic Roman style. The location is excellent - walking distance to most attractions, even the Vatican City. Just on the next block, there is a small supermarket and a bakery that opens at 6am (except Sundays) serving coffee and freshly baked croissants and pastries if you need them that early, which we did. Overall, a wonderful stay which I would definitely recommend!

Great location, unique & authentic apartment

If you want to stay somewhere that feels like history with the comfort of modern life, stat here. Great location near Gesu, Piazza Venezia, and multiple transit stops. The building has character and interest. Just be aware it is a long walk through corridors to get to the apartment, but for us it felt like a great adventure!

Great communication. Valerio was so nice in helping us with our luggage and explaining everything about the property. Such a good location. Everything super walkable. Would definitely get a bus or Uber from main station as that is probably the longest walk we did.

Great location!

Three of us (24 yo) stayed here and loved it. It was a charming place to stay with a great location. They had great communication up until our stay and also allowed us to check in early. They arranged a car service for us from the airport. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU CAN NOT HANDLE WALKING STAIRS. I loved staying here, but if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. There is an elevator but you still need to walk stairs and down hallways. The beds are also on the loft area, which added so much character to our stay, but could be challenging for others. The location was amazing and I would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable, and we felt comfortable traveling as young women. I loved staying here and loved Rome!

Charming and unique
