The place was immaculate, just as described, check in was great instructions were clear. The balcony view was worth it.

Place is very close to the train station, that’s a plus. Clean and safe. We asked to store our bags for 1 hour and the host declined our request. He offered to leave them elsewhere but we did not feel safe leaving them where he suggested. Was kinda annoying since you can’t really take them anywhere ...

So crowed with tourists during the day getting their selfies. Escape to the mountain hikes during the day. Warning you will encounter narrow very steep trails & stairs. Easy to get around to all the 5 towns. But there are stairs everywhere!!
It is our favourite village because it is not as busy as Monterosso and Vernazza
The walk along the coast was beautiful. I think it was easier finishing at Monterosso than starting there. We started the walk at seven in the morning to avoid the heat. That worked very well.
Fabulous experience. The hikes are more challlenging then expected with lots of stairs with big steps.
Great hiking options even though the famous sentiero d’azure was closed
It can get quite busy in Spring (we were there end of May), so booking something a bit removed from downtown would give you the quiet and local living style you might be looking for. Be aware that outside of the main road, everything is "up"!
