Merci au recptionniste (j'ai oublié son prénom) qui nous a bien conseillé sur les attractions à faire dans Reykjavik. L'emplacement est parfait pour se rendre facilement aux points de depart d'excursion. Literie confortable. La cuisine mériterait un petit rafraîchissement en particulier le frigo (un peu ancien)

L’hôtel est bien situé. C’est davantage un hôtel pour les backpackers. Toilettes et douches communes, ce qui fait qu’elles sont pas très propres. Les lits sont confortables et la loterie est propre. Les chambres sont quand même très bien.

Guesthouse tres bien située
Guesthouse tres bien située, c’est son gros avantage. Bien qu’en ville, près du terminal dénis de Hlemmur, les nuits sont calmes. Les chambres sont neuves, comme les sanitaires. Accueil agréable, service de laverie efficace. Propreté impeccable. Le confort est spartiate.

Nice location for a basic room
We stayed for two nights. The location was great, right in the centre of Reykjavik (shopping, restaurants, museum, etc.). Shared toilets and showers but this was not a problem. The beds were not so comfortable but it was ok. The kitchen/living-room had all you need to cook and it was a nice place to meet other guests.

meme si les wc et sanitaires sont a partager, le rapport qualite prix de cet guesthouse reste excellent grace a sa situation parfaite dans reykjavik, en plein centre, pres de tout et de nombreux restaurants, bars, boutiques....le confort est satisfaisant, le wifi performant, le petit dejeuner buffet excellent mais un peu cher comme partout en islande....bien sur toutes les compagnies de bus pour l'aeroport viennent vous chercher directement a l'hotel....personnel agreable...a recommander sachant que les hotels sont extremement chers en islande.

Pratique, bien placé et pas si cher pour Reykjavik
Bien placé puisque à deux pas de la rue Laugavegur. La dame à l'accueil a étée très serviable et patiente pour nous expliquer les différents moyens de se rendre à l'aéroport. Et a fait la réservation du Flybus pour nous. Possibilité de faire garder ses bagages le derniers jours mais dans la salle à manger commune.

Emplacement stratégique pour visiter Reykjavik
Ce guesthouse est idéal pour une visite en ville de Reykjavik étant à 2 pas du centre. Les chambres sont propres et il y a suffisamment de wc/douches pour le nombre de chambres. Par contre, il ne faut pas prendre le petit-déjeuner à 1500 kr car n'en vaut pas le coup.

El alojamiento tiene una cocina y comedor que estan muy bien. Lo que más me gusto es que tiene suficientes duchas y wc para que siempre encuentres alguno libre. Llegué bastante antes de las 15:00 pero mi habitación estaba lista. Me ha sorprendido, de los ttres alojamientos que he tenido en Reikiavik ha sido el mejor sin duda

I guess I really didn't know what a 'Guesthouse' was in the Icelandic sense. This is a hostel where you can get your own room. I had a single room. It had no TV, no temperature control, no adequate bedding, with the wind howling it is not quiet, etc. It was clean and since I was only there 2 nights, it was adequate, nothing more. No one is at the desk the vast majority of the time. The location is good. Perhaps by Icelandic Guesthouse standards this is fine but by most others I would say it is not.

The first two nights all fine. The last two nights not as good. No hot water on my floor. One filthy toilet was not cleaned during my two night stay there. The managers were not at their desk. I had to complain through an intercom system. All the shower cabins are rusty and require replacement.

If you're driving here - don't. I got parking a fair bit away. Also, Google Maps may suggest a route via Laugavegur. Part of it is closed, so it's an extra stress on the drive. Area looks pretty sketch at night. Your average downtown with crackheads & drunkards. Other than that, room itself was in pretty good condition & clean, but definitely could use some light restorative work.

Basic but nice stay!
Perfect place to spend a night, maybe two, on the cheap. Our room was definitely small, but clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was equipped, and there were multiple bathrooms so we never had to wait. Plus you're located right by all of the cute shops and restaurants!

Hard to find entrance to the property. Big sign on the second floor but little to no signs pointing where the entrance is. I would only recommend this place for people who are staying at Reyjavick for a night or two. Price is very good and they give the bare essentials for a good nights rest. For longer stays, you should look into other options which gives better amenities and have more living space.
