Typical farmhouse in the Florentine hills in the heart of Tuscany on an 18-hectare farm that produces fine olive oil and Chianti.
We are just 25 km south of Florence, easily reachable by train from a small station at 5 minutes by car from the farm.
The farmhouse, partly in stone and partly with plaster, offers the typical rural houses of the past with 3 large apartments.

The "Cipressi" apartment (170sqm), with large spaces and renovated furnishings, has three double bedrooms each with its own bathroom, a living room with fireplace and satellite TV and a large dining room with a table for 12, a kitchen well equipped with dishwasher, a bathroom with shower and anteroom and a corner with an additional single sofa bed.
The apartment is accessed via a large staircase from the courtyard of the farm that leads into an entrance porch, equipped with a wood-burning oven, with a panoramic view towards the sunset.

Linen changes are weekly and include sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats, shower towels and a personal pool towel.
Weekly cleaning of the apartment is included in stays longer than a week.
Heating in the winter months is LPG and consumption, measured with a dedicated meter, is not included in the price.

The common areas of the farm are: the courtyard, with the laundry room, with washing machine and dryer, the garden all around the house, the parking lot, the pool area and the large terrace with sofas, gazebos, hammock and barbecue, with a magnificent view on the vineyards and the valley.
In all these areas, rather large, there is a Wi-Fi connection.

The farm with its spaces is ideal for enjoying moments of fun and relaxation, sunbathing or refreshing in the 12 x 7 m swimming pool, open from mid-May to the end of September, surrounded by paved and lawn areas and immersed in the greenery of the valley, or on the large terrace with barbecue, set in a panoramic position overlooking the vineyards and facing the sunset, perfect for an hour of reading or a romantic dinner and from which you can admire beautiful sunsets.

Remaining inside the property, surrounded by silence and the majesty of the valley, it is possible to stroll among the vineyards and olive groves or down to the Vicano river, a tributary of the Arno, which marks the northern border of the property.

A perfect place to be at the same time a step away from the centre of Florence, reachable in 30 minutes by train from the station of S. Ellero (only 3 km from the farm), from which you arrive at the station of Santa Maria Novella right at the centre of Florence, a stone's throw from Piazza del Duomo.
The line is served by dozens of daily connections until past midnight.

In addition to the Renaissance city of Florence, with its art, and the beautiful landscape of the local hills and mountains, with the forest and the Vallombrosa Abbey just 10 km away, the area offers the possibility of making day trips to Arezzo ( also by train on the same line that leads to Florence or on the ancient Via Romea, in the stretch called "The road of the seven bridges"), or for example to Greve in Chianti, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa.

For basic necessities, just go to the nearby village of Donnini, with its bakery, small supermarket, butcher, bar, newsstand and restaurant.
Nearby major centers are Pontassieve, towards Florence, and Reggello, the main center of the municipal area.

The area also offers the opportunity to go trekking (trails of the C.A.I. of the Upper Valdarno), horse riding and wine and local food tasting and for people who love shopping, less than 10km away the famous outlet "the Mall".
