However, the booking process through the property management was not user friendly. Immediately after booking and paying the fee, I received an email outining the process of paying a bond , types of payments ,I could choose to complete this and a surcharge on credit card payments. As it was told to me after I booked and paid, I challenged this process and given that there were only 2 of us, it was waived. II also received another email , on the day of check in outlining all the possible charges, that may be incurred. For example, if the bbq was used and not cleaned, there was a charge.The list went on. Needless to say, it put a negative slant on the whole booking process through the property management company . Also, there was misinformation. It was stressed in the email, that we must put the key in the lock box every time we left the property and yet there was no lock box. I would like to add that when we arrived the owner was very helpful and friendly and we informed her of these booking procedures. She was not aware of them. ##### Melanie C. My family went kayaking, while I went looking around the town. I got some coffee at a place that only took cash, but was able to get NZ dollars from an ATM around the corner. I completely enjoyed watching people, enjoy the weather, and selection of eateries! The place we stayed was nice, but I would suggest bringing laundry detergent, soap, shampoo and conditioner; those were not provided. We really appreciated the ice in the refrigerator!
